A Day at KEEP
7:00 a.m. Rise & Shine
Cabin cleaning time7:20 - 8:30 a.m. Breakfast, awards, and getting ready for the day. 8:30 - 11:30 a.m Nature Walk to beaches, tidepools, forest, or Morro Bay. Students participate in art, creative writing, and scientific studies aimed at increasing their understanding of science and the natural world. 11:30a.m - 12:30p.m Picnic Lunch 12:30 - 3:30p.m Nature Walk to beaches, tidepools, forest, or Morro Bay. For more hike detail, see what they do at KEEP Cambria 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Teachers have their students for an hour. During this time, school teachers provide activities for their students such as short art projects, writing letters home, or filling out their KEEP journals, . 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Recreation and Shower Time. Activities include volleyball, basketball, ping-pong, tetherball, snake holding & touch tank exploration. 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. Dinnertime! Students eat dinner after learning about the "Manner of the Day" and observing a moment of silence. 7:00 - 9:00p.m. Evening Program. Students work together playing various science games. Games are followed by a campfire, songs, and stories. 9:00p.m Bedtime 9:15p.m Lights Out
