Weather Reporting

Groups of students learn to use standard weather prediction tools including a thermometer, barometer, hygrometer, rain gauge, tide chart, and the Beaufort Wind Scale.  After taking readings from the equipment, students look at the data and draw up a forecast for the day.  Later that morning, the group stands in front on the Dining Hall and presents their data to the rest of camp. All students record the collected weather data in their daily journal entries.
